Pleasant Oaks Grooming was proudly established in 1973 by Anita Antink, who ran the shop with her daughter. In 1999, Anita mentored a young woman, Annett Ilyev, interested in grooming. Annett worked part time for Anita, where grew her passion and skills grooming. The two remained close friends for years to come. Annett had always dreamt of owning her own grooming shop. In 2016, it came time for Anita to retire and the shop naturally transitioned ownership from Anita to Annett. Annett takes great pride in her neighborhood grooming shop and its roots. She has since renovated the shop, added new equipment, and expanded services from small pets under fifteen pounds to most medium and large breeds.
